Cough It Out or Shout It Out!
A Rhyming Story About Choking Safety and Getting Help
“If you can cough, cough it out. If you can’t, SHOUT it out!”
Rory loves to eat – crunchy and munchy and juicy and sweet! With Mom and Dad, Rory learns to sit down to eat, take small bites, and chew slowly, and helps keep little Bo safe from coins, tiny toys, and button batteries. When a friend coughs at snack time, Rory knows to let her keep coughing. And when Dad suddenly can’t breathe, cough, or talk at a backyard cookout, Rory spots the choking sign, shouts for Mom, and calls 9-1-1 while Mom knows just what to do.
